I'm Damian, owner of PAGE Tradie Plumbing & Gas. I've been plumbing for over 25 years in the UK and Australia, and I live just up the road in Nirimba, so Pelican Waters is a short drive for me. I work for homeowners, landlords, property managers and body corporates across the suburb.
Pelican Waters homes are well built, but many are now 20 to 30 years old, and life on the canals brings its own plumbing quirks: high water tables, stormwater that drains to the waterways, salt air, and bigger homes with long pipe runs and good quality fixtures worth protecting. My hot water has stopped working. How quickly can you help?
Hot water failures are a priority, and being close by means I can often get there the same day. Call me for a straight answer on timing. Most replacements are done in a single visit, and hot water quotes are always free.
Why does water pool in my yard after rain?
On canal homes it's usually a blocked or silted-up stormwater line, a damaged outlet, or downpipes that aren't draining away properly, made worse by the high water table. I'll check the lines with a CCTV camera to find exactly where the problem is before recommending any digging.
Can you connect gas for an outdoor kitchen or BBQ?
Yes. I'm a licensed gas fitter and install gas connections for outdoor kitchens, BBQs, cooktops and gas hot water, plus gas line extensions and regulator replacements. All gas work is certified to AS/NZS 5601.
Why does it take so long for hot water to reach my bathroom?
In bigger homes the hot water system is often a long way from the furthest bathroom, so you wait for the cold water in the pipe to run out. Depending on the layout there are a few ways to improve it, and I'll explain the options and costs honestly so you can decide if it's worth doing.
